The whole character of the city changes when you step\nonto the street. Gone are the modern shopping malls that align the city, which\nare replaced with something of the past age. During the day, there is not much\nactivity but when the sun goes down, the street will be hustling and bustling\nwith activity. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Some of the best culinary delights\nthat Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia has on offer are also the restaurants right at\nthe sidewalks, in the rows and rows of hawker stalls. On Jalan Alor, these\nstalls are visited by the locals, foreigners, tourists, and also by the\ncelebrity chefs from the entire world to get an inspiration for their award\nwinning menus. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The best advice for people who wish to\nvisit Jalan Alor is to bring their appetite. There are plenty to choose from\nhere and someone is not able to try everything in a single trip. The diversity\nof the population in Malaysia is reflected into the cooking diversity at Jalan\nAlor. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While most of the menus are in Chinese\ncharacters, there are many who also provide English translation in order to\ncater to tourists from around the globe and a growing number of locals who are\nnot Chinese-educated. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jalan Alor is synonymous for good food\nand traditional atmosphere of \u201eold times\u201c, a place where everybody will eat\nwith a passion for prices more than favorable. Very interesting experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jalan Alor is located withing the Bukit Bintang area, a walking distance from many 5star hotels.
